LiquidMaize founder joins climate change commission

Paul Orentas, managing partner for LiquidMaize LLC, has agreed to serve on Virginia's Commission on Climate Change. The newly formed, 32-person group was created under the Virginia Energy Plan, which was established to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through energy conservation and renewable energy use. LiquidMaize is an ethanol development and management company based in Denver, and Orentas has studied the feasibility of multiple biofuels projects across the United States. The commission is expected to issue a report by December.
