DOE biomass technical advisory committee to meet in August

The U.S. Department of Energy has announced an open meeting of the Biomass Research and Development Technical Advisory Committee Aug. 15-16 in Los Angeles, California.

The meeting aims to develop advice and guidance that promotes research and development leading to the production of biobased fuel and products. The tentative agenda includes updates on USDA and U.S. Department of Energy biomass research and development activities, along with presentations on biomass interface with fossil fuels, including gasification, refineries, carbon dioxide utilization, and current activities by the state of California.
