Waga Energy and Steuben County on March 18 announced that renewable natural gas (RNG) production has commenced at the Steuben County Landfill in Bath, New York. The RNG is delivered into the Corning Natural Gas system.
Lawmakers in Maine have passed a bill that aims to reduce the volume of food waste entering landfills by requiring certain businesses to donate edible food and/or deliver other food waste to an organics recycling facility, such as an anaerobic digestion plant.
