Biorefining and Biomass Conferences on the Horizon
I just wanted to take this opportunity to remind you of some upcoming BBI International conferences.
The International Biorefining Conference & Trade Show will be held Sept. 14-16 at the Hilton Americas in Houston. The event is designed to bring bioconversion technology developers and providers together with researchers, agricultural, forestry, waste and petrochemical professionals to discuss the commercialization of advanced biofuels and biobased chemicals. Panels for the event are organized into four tracks: pathways and industrial hosts; inputs and supply chains; products and markets; and capital and strategic partners. To find out more about the conference, go to www.biorefiningconference.com.
Following on the heels of the biorefining conference is the Northeast Biomass Conference & Trade Show, which will be held Oct. 11-13 at the Westin Convention Center in Pittsburgh. This event will zero in on biomass utilization and opportunities in the Northeast. Attendees will hear from technology and feedstock providers, equipment manufacturers, investors and policy makers in the biomass-based heat, power, fuel and chemicals industries. Along with the general sessions and panels will be a tour featuring the Fairview Swiss Cheese digester facility, Ernst Conservation Seeds Inc. and Crawford Central School District’s biomass combined heat and power district heating system.
