See You Next Week

I’ve never been to Denver, Colo. Next week will mark yet another first-time destination for me in my three years working for BBI International, and it’s a great experience every time.

I’ll be attending our International Biomass Conference & Expo April 16-19 and I can’t say enough about the well-rounded agenda. I still can’t decide which intriguing panel discussions to attend, as they’re all packed with knowledgeable experts and relevant topics.

And we have a lot of firsts at the annual event this year. The conference features two full days of tours instead of the traditional one day, and perhaps even more exciting is the preceding event, the Rocky Mountain Forest Restoration & Bioenergy Summit.

I hope you’ll all attend the summit, as it is of utmost importance, especially now, as wildfires ravage the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. Removal of fuel for that fire is crucial in some places and our industry is in a unique position to help.

Forgive my mini-blog (and shameless plug), but things are crazy around here with the May issue in production in the midst of conference preparation. I hope to see you all at the show.
