EPA approves isobutanol fuel registration filed by Butamax


The U.S. EPA has issued a letter of notification to Butamax Advanced Biofuels LLC registering isobutanol as a fuel additive for blending into gasoline at levels up to 16 percent. The approval could lead to more widespread blending of the biofuel.

Senate ag committee restores 2018 Farm Bill Energy Title funding

EIA: Bioenergy capacity, generation to increase in 2019

Ørsted, Bigadan inaugurate biogas plant in Denmark


Ørsted and Bigadan are inaugurating their first jointly-owned biogas plant. The plant will convert residues from Novo Nordisk and Novozymes into bio-natural gas and fertilizer. Construction on the project began in spring 2017.
