The U.S. EPA has rescheduled a planned webinar on the biogas regulatory reform rule (BRRR) provisions of the Renewable Fuel Standard program. The webinar, <a href="https://biomassmagazine.com/articles/epa-to-hold-webinar-on-biogas-regulatory-reform-rule-provisions-of-rfs-set-rule">originally scheduled for April 4</a>, will now take place April 12 from 11:00-3:30 p.m. ET.&nbsp;In a notice scheduled to be published in the Federal Register on March 3, the agency said those who have already registered for the original webinar date do not need to re-register if they are able to attend on the rescheduled date.&nbsp;The agency said it is holding the webinar to discuss the implementation of the BRRR provisions promulgated as part of the RFS final rule for 2023—2025, referred to as the RFS “set” rule. These regulatory provisions include registration and reporting, and updated regulatory provisions for the production, distribution, and use of biogas as a renewable fuel.&nbsp;During the webinar, EPA is expected to address the implementation timeline for BRRR; an implementation overview of the BRRR program; EPA Central Data Exchange registration for biogas producers, renewable natural gas (RNG) producers, RNG renewable identification number (RIN) separators, and performing required associations; and alternative measurement protocols.&nbsp;Those who did not register for the April 4 webinar are able to attend the rescheduled event but must pre-register by April 8.
