CoBank is predicting U.S. soybean crush capacity will expand 23% over the next three years. In a report released March 21, the company discusses the risk that this rapidly expanding capacity could exceed renewable diesel growth.
Jet Zero Australia Pty Ltd and Trovio Operating Pty Ltd announced that they have entered a strategic partnership to design and develop the ‘Book and Claim’ Registry for Australian sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and renewable diesel (RD).
New Energy Blue on March 18 announced the formation of New Energy Chemicals. In phase one, the biochemical subsidiary will produce biobased ethylene for use in Dow’s renewable plastics. In phase two, the subsidiary will expand to SAF production.

Tidewater Renewables Ltd. on March 14 announced that its 3,000-barrel-per-day renewable diesel facility in Prince George, British Columbia, is currently operating at near nameplate capacity. Work is also progressing on proposed plans to produce SAF.
