Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro has awarded more than $267 million to 31 manufacturing projects under the Reducing Industrial Sector Emissions in Pennsylvania program. Five biogas projects and one biomass CHP are among those to receive funding.
Opal Fuels Inc. released first quarter financial results on May 11, reporting renewable natural gas (RNG) production was up 9% when compared the same period of 2025. The company plans to significantly increase production capacity over the next year.

The Rhode Island Bioenergy Facility, owned and operated by a subsidiary of Anaergia Inc. has received a temporary negative CI score from the Government of Canada’s Ministry of Environment and Climate Change for the RNG it produces.
