EIA: Biofuel capacity, feedstock consumption up in October U.S. operatable biofuel production capacity increased slightly in October according to data released by the U.S. Energy Information Administration on Dec. 30. Total feedstock use was up from the previous month, but down from October 2021. READ MORE SHARE
USDA: US wood pellet exports at 694,200 tons in November The U.S. exported 694,199.7 metric tons of wood pellets in November, down from 750,989.2 metric tons in October and 764,259.6 metric tons in November 2021, according to data released by the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service on Jan. 5. UGI invests in additional RNG projects in South Dakota UGI Corp. announced on Jan. 4 that MBL Bioenergy, a joint venture between UGIES, Sevana Bioenergy and a subsidiary of CalBio, has entered an agreement to develop its second and third clusters of dairy manure waste to RNG projects in South Dakota. OMB agenda confirms timelines for RFS, E15, Biopreferred rules The White House OMB on Jan. 4 published its 2022 Fall Unified Agenda and Regulatory Plan, confirming the expected timeline on federal rulemakings related to the Renewable Fuel Standard, E15 sales and the Biopreferred program.
