Report: Canadian wood pellet exports up 5% in 2022 Canadian wood pellet production for 2022 remained stable with the previous year, according to a report filed with the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service’s Global Agricultural Information Network. EPA approves RFS fuel pathway for LanzaJet’s Georgia facility The U.S. EPA on Jan. 12 approved a fuel pathway filed by LanzaJet Inc. under the RFS that will allow the company’s biorefinery near Soperton, Georgia, to generate D4 RINs for renewable jet fuel and renewable diesel produced from sugarcane ethanol. 	DOE releases blueprint to decarbonize US transportation The DOE has released the U.S. National Blueprint for Transportation Decarbonization, which focuses on achieving net-zero emissions in the transportation. Raven SR, Chevron and Hyzon Motors partner on waste-to-hydrogen Raven SR Inc., Chevron New Energies, and Hyzon Motors Inc. on Jan. 9 announced they are collaborating to commercialize operations of a green waste-to-hydrogen production facility in Richmond, California. READ MORE SHARE

	USDA maintains forecast for soybean oil use in biofuel production The USDA maintained its forecast for 2022-’23 soybean oil use in biofuel production in its latest World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates report, released Jan. 12. Neste completes purchase of US-based used cooking oil business Neste announced on Jan. 13 it has completed its acqusition of the used cooking oil (UCO) collection and aggregation business and related assets on the U.S. West Coast from Crimson Renewable Energy Holdings LLC. READ MORE SHARE
EIA: Densified biomass fuel sales at 1.11M tons in September The U.S. Energy Information Administration recently released data showing U.S. manufacturers produced approximately 950,000 tons of densified biomass fuel in September, with sales reaching 1.11 million tons. READ MORE SHARE
