	EPA: 1.72 billion RINs generated in February The U.S. EPA on March 16 released data showing that nearly 1.72 billion renewable identification number (RINs) were generated under the Renewable Fuel Standard in February, up from 1.54 billion generated during the same month of 2022. READ MORE SHARE
DOE offers $14M to optimize production of biofuels, biochemicals The U.S. Department of Energy on March 21 announced $14 million in funding to support and optimize the production of affordable biofuels and biochemicals while significantly reducing carbon emissions. READ MORE SHARE
Montauk: 2022 revenues up on higher RNG, RIN pricing Montauk Renewables Inc. released fourth quarter results on March 16, reporting that full-year revenues were up in 2022 due to increased RNG and RIN pricing. 	Neste: Finnair reduces CO2 emissions with SAF Finnair has purchased 750 tons of Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel from Neste to reduce the carbon emissions from flights departing from Helsinki Airport in Finland. The airline aims to achieve carbon neutrality by 2045. READ MORE SHARE

USDA awards $4.9M to AD project as part of fertilizer initiative The USDA on March 10 announced it has extended $29 million in grant offers to eight projects under the first round of its Fertilizer Production Expansion Program. Corteva, Bunge, Chevron partner on winter canola production Corteva Inc., Bunge and Chevron U.S.A. Inc. have announced commercial collaboration to introduce proprietary winter canola hybrids that produce plant-based oil with a lower carbon profile for use as biofuel feedstock. READ MORE SHARE
