House Ag Appropriations votes to cut BCAP, REAP Just a few weeks after the USDA announced the first BCAP project area, the U.S. House of Representatives' Agriculture Appropriations Subcommittee has voted to eliminate BCAP funding for 2012. City council revokes Massachusetts biomass plant permit The Springfield (Mass.) City Council has revoked the permit it granted Palmer Renewable Energy to build a 35-megawatt biomass power plant, in a 2-9 vote on Monday. READ MORE SHARE
	Massachusetts's first biogas power plant to come online The Jordan Dairy Farm in Rutland, Mass., will soon host the state's first biogas power facility. A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on May 31 for the manure and food waste-to-energy plant, construction of which began in October of last year. READ MORE SHARE
