NSF awards $12 million to Center for Biorenewable Chemicals The National Science Foundation Engineering Research Center for Biorenewable Chemicals based at Iowa State University has made significant progress over its initial four years, and the NSF is giving the center three additional years and $12 million. Project Thunderbird to develop biojet projects in Western U.S. Aviation biofuel project development company Biojet has partnered with the Council of Energy Resource Tribes to produce bioenergy on tribal land.
