Astec Industries highlights pellet plant order in investor call Astec Industries Inc. has released first quarter financial results, reporting net sales of $288.7 million, up 21 percent from the $238.7 million reported for the same period of 2014. Annie Kuster, D-N.H., recently announced the Bethlehem School District has received a $30,000 grant from the USDA Rural Development Community Facilities program that will be used to install a pellet boiler at the Bethlehem Elementary School. Oregon bill creates exemptions for some biomass carbon emissions The Oregon Senate has passed legislation that declares biomass as carbon neutral under some circumstances.
