GREC sells 102.5-MW biomass facility to GRU Gainesville Renewable Energy Center, a partnership of Energy Management Inc., BayCorp Holdings, Starwood Energy and Fagen Power LLC, has sold its 102.5-MW biomass facility to Gainesville Regional Utilities for $750 million dollars. READ MORE SHARE
Biomass conversion begins at Asnæs Power Station On Oct. 30, DONG Energy kicked off the biomass conversion of the Asnæs Power Station in Kalundborg, Denmark. Following the two-year conversion process, the facility will take in wood chips and other forms of biomass as fuel. READ MORE SHARE
	Abengoa to build MSW-to-biofuels plant for Fulcrum BioEnergy Abengoa has announced it has received a notice to proceed on the construction of a plant that will convert municipal solid waste (MSW) into aviation biofuels using gasification technology for Fulcrum BioEnergy Inc. READ MORE SHARE
Enviva reports strong third quarter Enviva Partners LP has released third quarter financial results, reporting net income of $131.5 million, up 18.7 percent. Included in the net revenue were product sales of $125.4 million on a volume of 668,000 metric tons of wood pellets. READ MORE SHARE
New BioAmber CEO outlines near-term priorities to enable growth BioAmber appointed Richard Eno as its new CEO in September. Gevo announces strategic review, reduces staff at Luverne plant Gevo Inc. has released third quarter financial results, reporting that the company’s management and board of directors are reviewing its strategic and financial operations. ABC disappointed by tax reform package introduced in the House The American Biogas Council has expressed disappointment in the tax reform package introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives Nov. 2. The ABC is criticizing the bill’s unequal treatment of tax credits for renewable power technologies. READ MORE SHARE
Wolf asks EPA to waive 2017, 2018 RFS RVOs, RFA responds On Nov. 2, Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf issued a letter to EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt asking for a nationwide waiver of the 2017 and 2018 Renewable Fuel Standard renewable volume requirements (RVOs). READ MORE SHARE

Lincoln, Nebraska, to sell biogas for vehicle fuel The city of Lincoln, Nebraska, is upgrading its technology to allow the biogas produced by wastewater treatment to be processed into vehicle fuel.
