Enviva reports strong third quarter


Enviva Partners LP has released third quarter financial results, reporting net income of $131.5 million, up 18.7 percent. Included in the net revenue were product sales of $125.4 million on a volume of 668,000 metric tons of wood pellets.

Port of Tyne handles record-setting cargo of wood pellets


Docking at the Port of Tyne, the bulk cargo vessel St. Dimitrios has discharged the biggest cargo of wood pellets ever handled at the port. In total, 62,000 metric tons of wood-pellets will be unloaded over five days.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration recently released the October edition of its Monthly Densified Biomass Fuel Report, noting the 88 facilities that submitted data produced 576,521 tons of pellets in July.
