	UK government issues response to consultation on RHI amendments On Jan. 29, the U.K. government released its response to a consultation on proposed amendments to the Non-domestic Renewable Heat Incentive, confirming its intention to restrict certain types of fuel drying that are supported under the RHI. EIA: 670,000 tons of densified biomass fuel produced in October The U.S. Energy Information Administration recently announced U.S. manufacturers of densified biomass fuel reported producing 670,000 tons of product in October, with sales reaching 640,000 tons. READ MORE SHARE
Pruitt discusses E15 RVP waiver, RFS fuel pathway during hearing The RFS, a Reid vapor pressure (RVP) waiver for E15, and the pending advanced biofuel pathway for distillers sorghum oil were among the topics discussed during a Jan. 30 Senate hearing featuring testimony from U.S. EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt. Qantas: First US-Australia biofuel flight takes off Qantas has announced The world’s first dedicated biofuel flight between the United States and Australia, QF96 from Los Angeles to Melbourne, took place in late January.
