Virgin Australia leads trial using Gevo’s biojet in Brisbane On Sept. 11, Virgin Australia announced the successful completion of a trial to deliver sustainable aviation fuel through Brisbane Airport’s general fuel supply system. DOE funds 6 projects for co-optimization of engines and fuels The U.S. Department of Energy has announced it will award 42 projects a total of $80 million to support advanced vehicles technologies research, with $10.1 million funding six projects focused on the co-optimization of engines and fuels.
