Fram Renewable Fuels purchases former SEGA Biofuels pellet plant


A division of Fram Renewable Fuels has acquired an idle pellet plant in Brantley County, Georgia, and is working to restart the facility. Operations at the 120,000-million-ton-per-year plant are expected to resume in November.

EPA: 31.29 million cellulosic RINs generated in August


The U.S. EPA has released renewable identification number (RIN) generation data for August, reporting that 1.75 billion RINs were generated during the month, including 31.29 million cellulosic RINs.
