EPA proposes to amend 2015 NSPS for residential wood heaters The U.S. EPA has issued a proposed rule to amend its 2015 NSPS for residential wood heaters that would provide retailers additional time to sell existing inventories of heaters and forced air furnaces. Grassley weighs in on EPA’s expected RFS ‘reset’ rulemaking Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, has spoken out regarding a Nov. 20 Reuters report indicating the U.S. EPA plans to issue a rulemaking in January to “reset” the Renewable Fuel Standard targets, noting the action could further weaken the RFS. Dominion Energy, Smithfield Foods form RNG joint venture Dominion Energy and Smithfield Foods Inc. are forming a joint venture called Align Renewable Natural Gas that will capture methane emissions from hog farms and convert them into clean renewable energy for heat and power applications. Andritz to supply fluidized bed boiler for biomass plant in Japan International technology group Andritz has received an order from Toyo Engineering Corp., Japan, to deliver a PowerFluid Circulating Fluidized Bed boiler with flue gas cleaning system for a new biomass power plant to be built in Kamisu.
