Pinnacle begins pellet production at new British Columbia plant


Pinnacle Renewable Holdings Inc. announced Nov. 27 that it has commenced initial pellet production at its new production facility in Smithers, British Columbia, which is owned 70 percent by Pinnacle and 30 percent by West Fraser Timber Co. Ltd.

EPA proposes to amend 2015 NSPS for residential wood heaters


The U.S. EPA has issued a proposed rule to amend its 2015 NSPS for residential wood heaters that would provide retailers additional time to sell existing inventories of heaters and forced air furnaces. The agency also issued a related ANPR.

Drax takes action to cut shipping supply chain emissions
