Dominion, Smithfield invest $500 million in RNG projects Dominion Energy and Smithfield Foods Inc. announced Oct. 23 the companies are doubling their investment in RNG projects across the U.S. to $500 million through 2028. Valero reports Q3 loss for ethanol, profit for renewable diesel Valero Energy Corp. released third quarter financial results on Oct. 24, reporting a loss for its ethanol segment, but a profitable quarter for renewable diesel. EPA posts call-in information for Oct. 30 hearing on SRE proposal The U.S. EPA has posted call-in information for its Oct. 30 hearing on the supplemental notice of proposed rulemaking released Oct. 15 that seeks comments on how the agency should project the volume of SREs in future annual RFS rulemakings. Neste reports strong Q3 for renewable products segment Neste Corp. released third quarter financial results on Oct. 25, reporting a comparable operating profit of €435 million, the company’s highest quarterly result ever. Vancouver landfill now approved to produce RNG FortisBC and the city of Vancouver have received regulatory approval from the British Columbia Utilities Commission to produce renewable natural gas (RNG) at the city’s landfill in Delta. Construction on the project will begin in 2020. READ MORE SHARE
