Senate interior appropriations bill requires EPA to act on eRINs The RFS Power Coalition applauded the passage of H.R. 3055 (116), the Senate’s Interior Appropriations bill. FERC: 505 MW of biomass capacity planned through August 2022 The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission published its latest monthly Energy Infrastructure Update on Nov. 1 showing that up to 505 megawatts (MW) of biomass power capacity is currently under development and could be installed by August 2022. 	Enviva discusses new capacity development in Q3 earnings call Enviva released Q3 financial results on Oct. 30, reporting its highest ever quarterly adjusted EBITDA. During an earnings call, company officials discussed planned capacity increases, including the construction of a new plant in Mississippi. READ MORE SHARE

Gevo announces fuel contract, plan for sustainability tracking Gevo Inc. announced Nov. 4 it has won a contract to supply the city of Seattle with renewable gasoline to fuel its fleets. EIA: Densified biomass fuel sales reach 730,000 tons in July The Energy Information Administration hasreleased data showing U.S. manufacturers produced 790,000 tons of densified biomass fuel in July, with sales at 730,000 tons. Inventories of both premium/standard pellets and utility pellets were up in July. READ MORE SHARE
New Hampshire delegation urges EPA to open RFS to renewable power The New Hampshire congressional delegation sent a letter to U.S. EPA Administrator Andrew Wheeler on Oct. 28 urging the agency to allow renewable electricity producers to participate in the Renewable Fuel Standard, starting in 2020. Aries reaches financial close on biosolids gasification facility Aries Clean Energy has completed the $65 million financial close for the Aries Linden Biosolids Gasification Facility in New Jersey, and construction has commenced.
