2020 FEW moved to Omaha, date changed to Aug. 24-26 BBI International has announced that the 2020 International Fuel Ethanol Workshop & Expo has been moved due to the outbreak of COVID-19. Originally scheduled for mid-June in Minneapolis, the FEW is now rescheduled to take place Aug. 24-26 in Omaha. READ MORE SHARE

Neste reports record renewable diesel production in Q1 Neste Corp. released first quarter financial results on April 24. The company reported a solid start to the year considering the negative impacts caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, and said renewable diesel production was at a record high. READ MORE SHARE
Forest Service invests in wood energy, wood innovation The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Forest Service on April 27 announced it will award a total of $1.5 million to seven rural communities through a new Community Wood Energy and Wood Innovation grant program. READ MORE SHARE
EPA: 1.58 billion RINs generated in March The U.S. EPA has released renewable identification number (RIN) generation data for March, reporting that 1.58 billion RINs were generated during the month under the Renewable Fuel Standard, including 34.4 million cellulosic RINs. READ MORE SHARE

CenterPoint Energy proposes tapping Minnesota-made RNG To promote the production of made-in-Minnesota RNG and supply the increasing demand for this clean energy resource, CenterPoint Energy is seeking to open its Minnesota pipeline system to natural gas created from organic materials. Canada’s Clean Fuel Standard regulations delayed by COVID-19 The Canadian government announced on April 24 it will delay publication of proposed regulations for the liquid fuel class of its Clean Fuel Standard until fall 2020 due to extraordinary circumstances caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
