Aviation leaders launch in-flight 100% SAF emissions study Airbus, German research centre DLR, Rolls-Royce and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) producer Neste have teamed up to launch the world’s first in-flight emissions study using 100 percent SAF on a wide-body commercial passenger aircraft. EPA: No new SRE petitions filed in past month Data released by the U.S. EPA on March 18 shows that no new small refinery exemption (SRE) petitions have been filed in the past month. 	Senate unanimously confirms Tai as US trade representative The U.S. Senate on March 17 voted unanimously to confirm the nomination of Katherine Tai as U.S. trade representative. BP, Aria energy announce California diary RNG project BP and Aria Energy on March 18 announced a project to capture methane from waste at three California dairy farms and process it into renewable natural gas (RNG), which will then be supplied as fuel for the U.S. transportation sector. DOE to issue funding opportunity for aviation, advanced biofuels The U.S. Department of Energy on March 10 announced its intent to issue a funding opportunity this spring that aims to accelerate the production of low-carbon aviation fuels, renewable marine fuels, and other advanced biofuels. RNG produced by Anaergia now flowing through SoCalGas system Anaergia Inc. and Southern California Gas Co. announced on March 18 that renewable natural gas (RNG) produced from diverted landfill waste is now flowing into SoCalGas’ pipeline system from the Rialto Bioenergy Facility. READ MORE SHARE

Lawmakers introduce comprehensive CO2 infrastructure bill Sens. Chris Coons, D-Del., and Bill Cassidy, R-La., and Reps.
