USDA: US wood pellet exports top 635,000 metric tons in April


The U.S. exported 635,463.4 metric tons of wood pellets in April, down from 667,309 metric tons in March, but up from 595,166.2 metric tons in April 2020, according to data released by the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service on June 8.

NGVAmerica and the RNG Coalition on June 2 announced that California fleets fueled with RNG achieved carbon-negativity for calendar year 2020. RNG accounted for 92 percent of all on-road fuel used in natural gas vehicles in the state last year.

Trillium to provide RNG to Circle K fleet in California


Trillium and Circle K have entered into an agreement in which Trillium will provide renewable natural gas (RNG) to Circle K’s in-house trucking fleet in California. Each gallon of RNG offsets the GHGs associated with 5 gallons of traditional diesel.

BayoTech and IBMS Group on May 24 announced an agreement to launch the U.K.’s first renewable hydrogen project using biomethane from food waste as a feedstock. The project will produce 1,000 kilograms of renewable hydrogen per day.
