Garamendi introduces bill requiring EPA to process eRIN pathways Rep. John Garamendi, D-Calif., on Nov. 5 introduced the Biomass and Biogas for Electric Vehicles Act, which aims to require the U.S. EPA to process long-delayed RFS pathway applications to generate eRINs. READ MORE SHARE
US wood pellet exports up in September The U.S. exported 690,515.4 metric tons of wood pellets in September, up from both 647,901.5 metric tons in August and 608,099.7 metric tons in September 2020, according to data released by the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service on Nov. 4. READ MORE SHARE
	UK publishes biomass policy statement The U.K. government on Nov. 4 published a policy statement that provides an early indication of priorities and intentions for biomass use ahead of the planned publication of a full biomass strategy in 2022. READ MORE SHARE
Bloom Energy delivers renewable power from dairy farm waste Bloom Energy on Nov. 8 announced a 1 MW fuel cell deployment at Bar 20 Dairy Farms in Kerman, California to efficiently produce on-site, renewable electricity from dairy cow manure. Enviva provides update of plant development, business structure Enviva Partners LP released third quarter financial results on Nov. 3, reporting that construction of its pellet plant in Lucedale, Mississippi, is nearly complete, with commissioning expected to begin in the late fourth quarter of 2021. SJI, REV LNG announce construction of Connecticut RNG facility On Nov. 2, SJI and development partner REV LNG LLC announced the construction of a 2MM gallon anaerobic digester at Oakridge Dairy, Connecticut’s largest dairy farm. 	CVR to move forward with Wynnewood conversion in early 2022 David Lamp, president and CEO of CVR Energy Inc. provided an update of the company’s planned projects to convert two existing petroleum refineries to renewable diesel production during a third quarter earnings call on Nov. 2. Marathon discusses renewables projects during Q3 earnings call Mike Hennigan, CEO of Marathon Petroleum Corp., provided an update of the company’s renewables fuels initiatives, including it refinery conversion projects and a feedstock joint venture formed with ADM, during a third quarter earnings call. Yosemite Clean Energy secures plant site for RNG facility Yosemite Clean Energy, announced Oct. 28 it has secured the site for developing the company's first carbon-negative green hydrogen and RNG production plant in Oroville, California, with groundbreaking scheduled for Q2 of 2022. Brightmark, Chevron announce first RNG at Lawnhurst Farms Brightmark RNG Holdings LLC – a joint venture partnership between Chevron U.S.A. Inc. and Brightmark Fund Holdings LLC, a subsidiary of Brightmark LLC – has delivered first gas at its Lawnhurst site in Western New York. READ MORE SHARE
JGC, Cosmo Oil to build SAF project using Honeywell technology Honeywell on Oct. 28 announced that JGC Holdings Corp. and Cosmo Oil Co. will use Honeywell Ecofining technology for the first commercial scale sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) project in Japan.
