Albioma acquires Quebec pellet plant Albioma has acquired the La Granaudière wood pellet production plant located in the Canadian province of Quebec. The 200,000-metric-ton per year facility was idled in mid 2021. Albioma plans to recommission the facilty in early 2022. READ MORE SHARE

Valmet to supply boiler to 112 MW biomass plant in Japan Valmet announced on Dec. 28 it will supply a biomass power boiler and flue gas cleaning system to Tahara Biomass Power LLC, a 112 megawatt (MW) biomass power plant under development in Japan.
