Drax Group, NYK Line, NYK Bulk & Projects Carriers, and TSUNEISHI SHIPBUILDING Co. Ltd. have signed a MOU to develop both the world’s first biomass-fueled ship (bioship) and the technology that could power it.
The Australian government on May 14 released its $22.7 billion 2024-2025 budget. The plan, in part, includes provisions that aim to support the commercialization of net-zero technologies, such as SAF and renewable hydrogen.
The Chemical Catalysis for Bioenergy Consortium, a consortium of the U.S. DOE’s Bioenergy Technologies Office, has launched an effort that aims to gather community input on the development of new biomass processing facilities.
Following a request for proposal by the Rockingham County won by Waga Energy, the two parties signed a contract to produce RNG at the waste storage site in the town of Madison, North Carolina.
Bioenergy Devco on May 16 announced that the Maryland Bioenergy Center in Jessup, Maryland, is operating at full capacity. The facility processes 120,000 tons of food waste annually into renewable natural gas (RNG) and nutrient-rich soil amendments.
