The government of Alberta, Canada, on June 12 launched an effort to update its renewable fuels standard (RFS) program, which has been in effect since 2011. The province aims to implement updates by Jan. 1, 2028.
The USDA on June 15 delivered a final rule to the White House Office of Management and Budget that would, in part, “simplify and streamline requirements and processes” for the Rural Energy for America Program.
SUSTAERO on June 17 announced a strategic licensing agreement with Nextchem. SUSTAERO is integrating Nextchem’s proprietary NX Circular gasification technology into the biomass-to-syngas section of its proprietary production process.
Braya Renewable Fuels on June 15 celebrated an exciting milestone for the Come By Chance refinery when it completed its first sale of renewable diesel for the Canadian market. The transaction was for 100,000 barrels of renewable diesel.
XCF Global Inc. on June 16 announced that its New Rise Renewables Reno facility has advanced its production-start sequence, following the previously announced successful receipt and loading of process catalyst announced earlier this month.
