CHAR Technologies Ltd. on Oct. 1 announced the substantial completion of Phase 1 mechanical and electrical construction at its Thorold Renewable Energy Facility, the company's first commercial renewable energy and biocarbon production facility.

Greenlane Renewables Inc. on Oct. 6 announced that the company has extended its $20 million standby letter of credit facility to Sept. 30, 2027. The facility is secured by a guarantee from Export Development Canada.
