U.S. manufacturers produced approximately 950,000 tons of densified biomass fuel in June, according to the U.S. EIA’s Monthly Densified Biomass Fuels Report. Sales of densified biomass fuel reached 960,000 tons during the month.
Infinium on Sept. 21 introduced its mSAF product offering, a new methane-derived sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) platform which converts renewable natural gas, biogas, flare gas, and other qualified methane streams into low-carbon aviation fuel.
Generate Capital on Sept. 21 announced the sale of 100% of Generate Upcycle, its global anaerobic digestion platform, via two separate transactions with U.S.-based Vanguard Renewables and U.K.- based Pinta Energy.
Lakeshore Recycling Systems has selected Waga Energy to build and operate a biomethane production unit at the Eco-Hill Landfill in Atkinson, Illinois. The project will produce approximately 180 GWh of biomethane annually.
NB Power has reached two important milestones in its plan to transition the Belledune Generating Station from coal to sustainably sourced advanced pellets made from wood and agricultural hemp biomass.
