XCF Global Inc., an emerging U.S.-based producer of renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), on July 9 announced that its New Rise Renewables Reno facility has begun producing renewable fuels.
Aemetis Inc. July 9 announced that its ethanol and renewable natural gas subsidiaries have received funds from the sales of $18 million of Section 45Z clean fuel production tax credits.
The U.S. EIA maintained its 2026 production forecasts for renewable diesel and a category of fuel that includes SAF in its latest Short-Term Energy Outlook, released July 7. The outlook for 2026 biodiesel production was revised down.
