NB Power has reached two important milestones in its plan to transition the Belledune Generating Station from coal to sustainably sourced advanced pellets made from wood and agricultural hemp biomass.
Praj Industries and Gevo Inc. have signed a development and commercialization agreement for bio-isobutanol (Bio-IBA) technology in India, reinforcing their long-standing association to advance sustainable low-carbon fuel solutions.
OPAL Fuels on Sept. 16 announced that it has extended its landfill gas rights agreement with the Miramar Landfill in San Diego, California, for an additional five years. The site has been producing renewable electricity since 1998.
The U.S. EPA on Sept. 17 reported that 2.02 billion RINs were generated under the RFS in August, up 6% when compared to the same month of last year. Total RIN generation for the first eight months of the year reached 16.34 billion.
Montauk Renewables Inc. and its subsidiary, Montauk Renewables Ag LLC, on Sept. 15 celebrated the official opening of the company’s Turkey, North Carolina, facility. The project converts swine waste into electricity.
