The clean fuels industry strengthened its foundation in 2025 behind record policy targets, new engine capabilities and proven performance, setting expectations for continued growth in 2026, according to Clean Fuels Alliance America.
The Canadian government in September 2025 announced new biofuel production incentives would take effect on Jan. 1, 2026. Fred Ghatala, president of Advanced Biofuels Canada Association, is welcoming the new incentives.
DHL Global Forwarding and CMA CGM have taken a significant step toward decarbonizing global container transport. The two companies have agreed to jointly use 8,990 metric tons of UCOME second-generation biofuel.

Aviation sustainability provider Azzera Inc. announces that JETEX is the latest strategic investor in its digital carbon-management platform. JETEX will also work with Azzera as a sustainability partner to procure and manage SAF beginning in 2026.
