Southern Energy Renewables Inc. and Axens on April 7 announced the companies have signed a MOU to collaborate on the development of SAF and related fuel projects, with an initial focus on Southern's planned biomass to fuel facility in Louisiana.
Nearly 1.93 billion RINs were generated under the RFS in March, up 1% when compared to March 2025, according to data released by the U.S. EPA on April 16. Total RIN generation for the first three months of the year reached nearly 4.9 billion.
