Hydron Energy on April 27 announced the launch of its breakthrough RNG platform project at the Bailey Landfill in Chilliwack, British Columbia, marking a significant milestone in the advancement of cost-effective RNG production.
The government of Queensland, Australia, has announced it will invest $25 million to support a project that will enable renewable diesel production at Ampol’s Lytton oil refinery. The project could expand in the future to include SAF production.
XCF Global Inc. on April 9 announced that the conversion of its New Rise Renewables Reno plant remains on schedule. The company currently expects the SAF facility could begin commissioning in early June.
XCF Global Inc.’s biorefinery located near Reno, Nevada, could resume sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production during the second quarter of 2026, according to an annual report filed with the U.S. SEC on March 31.
U.S. operable ethanol and biodiesel production capacity expanded slightly in January, according to data released by the U.S. EIA on March 31. Renewable diesel capacity fell by more than 2% when compared to December.
