Blending biomass with coal isn’t technically possible—it’s a craft.
SAF producer XCF Global Inc. has signed a letter of intent with Posh Robotics through its subsidiary New Rise Renewables Reno LLC to explore deploying Posh Energy's flex-fuel gensets at the New Rise Reno renewable fuels facility.
U.S. manufacturers produced approximately 900,000 tons of densified biomass fuels in May, according to the latest edition of the U.S. IEA’s Monthly Densified Biomass Fuels Report. Sales of densified biomass fuel reached 850,000 tons during the month.
The American Biogas Council on Sept. 25 released new data showing the extensive role municipal wastewater facilities can play to recycle organic waste into renewable energy and fertilizer using biogas systems.
The European Commission on Sept. 18 approved, under EU state aid rules, an amendment to Germany’s existing renewable energy scheme that increases the budget to support biomass and biogas electricity production by €7.9 billion ($9.27 billion).
