The European Commission on Sept. 17 approved a EUR 11.41 million ($12.98 million) grant to support a cross-border biomass heating district hearing project that will serve areas in Slubice, Poland, and Frankfurt, Germany.
U.S. manufacturers produced approximately 950,000 tons of densified biomass fuel in June, according to the U.S. EIA’s Monthly Densified Biomass Fuels Report. Sales of densified biomass fuel reached 960,000 tons during the month.
