Montauk Renewables Inc. on Nov. 5 announced the company produced 1.4 million MMBtu of renewable natural gas (RNG) during the third quarter of 2025, up 3.8% or 53,000 MMBtu, when compared to the same period of last year.&nbsp;The company also produced 44,000 megawatt hours (MWh) of renewable electricity during the three month period, up 3,000 MWh when compared to the third quarter of 2024.&nbsp;During a third quarter earnings call, Montauk Renewables Chief Financial Officer Kevin Van Asdalan reported the company’s RNG segment reported $39.9 million in revenues for the third quarter, down from $61.8 million reported for the same period of last year. The average commodity pricing for natural gas was 42.1% higher when compared to last year, he added. Offsetting this impact, the company self-marketed 12.4 million renewable identification numbers (RINs), representing a 21.1% decrease when compared to the third quarter of 2024. Average pricing realized on RIN sales during the third quarter of 2025 was $2.29 as compared to $3.34 during the third quarter of 2024, a decrease of 31.4%, Van Asdalan added.&nbsp;Revenues from renewable electricity facilities during the third quarter of 2025 were $4.2 million, an increase of 1.9% compared to the third quarter of 2024, according to Van Asdalan.&nbsp;Montauk Renewables reported total third quarter revenues of $45.3 million, down 31.1% when compared to the same period of last year. Net income was $5.21 million, down from $17.05 million. Income per basic and diluted share was 4 cents, down from 12 cents.&nbsp;For the full year 2025, Montauk Renewables expects RNG production volumes to be in the range of 5.8 million to 6 million MMBtu. Renewable electricity production is expected to reach between 175,000 and 180,000 MWh.&nbsp;&nbsp;
