Carolina Renewable Products, a clean energy company, on Oct. 7 announced it is establishing operations in Orangeburg County, South Carolina. The proposed facility will convert woody biomass into renewable diesel, biochar and wood vinegar.
The U.S. EPA on Oct. 16 released data showing more than 1.92 billion RINs were generated under the RFS in September, down approximately 9% when compared to last year. Total RIN generation for the first nine months of 2025 reached 17.13 billion.
Erie County, New York, has launched a pilot program that will test renewable diesel in three Department of Public Works vehicles. If the pilot is successful, the county will roll out the program to the entire fleet.
Honda Aircraft Co. on Oct. 13 announced it has become the first twin-turbine very light business jet manufacturer to utilize the HondaJet on a successful test flight running a 100% blend of sustainable aviation fuels (SAF).
Repsol has achieved a new technological milestone by producing gasoline from 100% renewable sources on an industrial scale. The product is made entirely from renewable sources and is fully compatible with gasoline vehicles.
