U.S. manufacturers produced approximately 940,000 tons of densified biomass fuel in August, according to the latest edition of the U.S. EIA’s latest Monthly Densified Biomass Fuels Report. Sales of densified biomass fuel reached 940,000 tons.
Nopetro Energy, in partnership with Johnson Controls, announced on Dec. 2 a $50 million investment to design, finance, build and operate a landfill gas to renewable natural gas (RNG) production facility in Manatee County, Florida.

Broco Energy on Dec. 1 announced that its renewable diesel pilot with the Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) has officially progressed into a fully executed long-term contract. The contract begins Dec. 1.
