Calumet Inc. on Feb. 27 confirmed that the MaxSAF expansion at its Montana Renewables facility remains on track to be operational in the second quarter of 2026. The project will boost sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) capacity to 120-150 MMgy.
Clean Energy Fuels Corp. released fourth quarter financial results on Feb. 24, reporting the company sold 64.1 million gallons of renewable natural gas (RNG) during the period, up 3.4% when compared to the fourth quarter of 2024.
New data released on Feb. 24 by the American Biogas Council shows that 2025 was another strong year for the U.S. biogas industry. In the 12 months ending December 2025, 70 new biogas projects came online.
PBF Energy on Feb. 12 announced the St. Bernard Renewables facility produced approximately 16,700 barrels per day of renewable diesel during the fourth quarter of 2025, up from 15,400 barrels per day during the proceeding quarter.
The U.S. Energy Information Administration reduced its forecasts for 2026 and 2027 renewable diesel production in its latest Short-Term Energy Outlook, released Feb. 10. The outlook for sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production was maintained.
