Randolph County has selected Waga Energy to build and operate a biomethane production unit at the Great Oak landfill site in Randleman, North Carolina. Waga Energy will finance, build, own, and operate the RNG production unit.
Waste Connections of Canada on June 30 officially opened a new renewable natural gas (RNG) facility at the Ridge Landfill in the Municipality of Chatham-Kent, Ontario. The project was developed in partnership with Enbridge Gas.
Last calendar year marked the sixth consecutive year that commercial fleets in the State of California fueled by bio-CNG (renewable natural gas, or RNG) achieved a carbon-negative transportation outcome.
The Horizon Europe-funded TITAN project is nearing completion after 48 months of research, demonstrating a new process that converts raw biogas into hydrogen and solid carbon. The project formally closes Aug. 31.
