Two researchers at Imperial College London on March 5 published a paper that identifies 36 strategies with the highest potential to reduce global carbon emissions. Biofuels and BECCS are among the strategies identified by the researchers.
Clean Energy Fuels Corp. on March 4 announced a slew of deals with trucking, refuse, and transit fleets nationwide. The agreements span renewable natural gas (RNG) fueling infrastructure and RNG supply.
Republic Services Inc. completed and commenced operations at nine RNG projects in 2025, including three that began operations during the fourth quarter of the year. An additional four RNG projects are expected to become operational in 2026.
Strategic Biofuels announced on March 4 it has received a draft Class VI Well Permit from the Louisiana Department of Conservation and Energy for the CCS project under development as part of its Louisiana Green Fuels project.
Syzygy Plasmonics on March 3 announced an MOU with Geo bio gas&carbon, Brazil's foremost sugarcane and ethanol waste to biogas developer and operator, to develop commercial-scale sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) projects in Brazil.
