The U.S. exported 825,269.9 metric tons of wood pellets in January, down slightly from 879,332.3 metric tons the previous month, but up from the 742,824.6 metric tons exported in January 2023, according to data released by the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service on March 6.&nbsp;The U.S. exported wood pellets to approximately 15 countries in January. The U.K. was the top destination for U.S. wood pellet exports at 654,610 metric tons, followed by Denmark at 60,578.2 metric tons and the Netherlands at 31,817.5 metric tons.&nbsp;The value of U.S. wood pellet exports reached $157.96 million in January, down from $162.15 million in December, but up from $140.03 million in January of the previous year.&nbsp;Additional data is available on the USDA FAS&nbsp;<a href="https://apps.fas.usda.gov/Gats/default.aspx">website</a>.&nbsp;&nbsp;
