PerkinElmer, LEAP Technologies enter resale arrangement

PerkinElmer Inc. has entered into a resale arrangement with LEAP Technologies Inc. Under this arrangement, LEAP Technologies will be able to incorporate PerkinElmer's proprietary ultra-high performance liquid chromatography and high performance liquid chromatography technology into front-end automation systems for mass spectrometry within the U.S. and Canada. The combined offering is intended to enable LEAP's biotechnology and pharmaceutical customers to derive additional insight into the data of their most demanding applications. Financial details of the arrangement were not disclosed. In addition, PerkinElmer will be able to provide advanced automation solutions from LEAP Technologies into markets beyond its traditional customer base, including environmental, food safety and forensics.
