The Ontario government on May 8 announced it is investing $5.5 million to help Greenwater Technology produce renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) from mill byproducts and underused wood.
Japan-based Erex Co. Ltd. in April announced it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Vietnam-based Vinacomin Power Holdings to study the possibility of cofiring biomass at two of Vinacomin’s coal-fired power plants.
Casella Waste Systems Inc. and Waga Energy held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 14 to celebrate the opening of the renewable natural gas (RNG) production facility at the Chemung County Landfill in Elmira, New York.
The Rhode Island Bioenergy Facility, owned and operated by a subsidiary of Anaergia Inc. has received a temporary negative CI score from the Government of Canada’s Ministry of Environment and Climate Change for the RNG it produces.
