Drax announces world’s biggest carbon removals deal


Drax has signed an MOU with Respira under which Respira will be able to purchase up to 2 million metric tons of carbon dioxide removals (CDRs) from Drax over a five year period. The CDRs would be linked to a future BECCS project in North America.
